The state Attorney General’s report on illegal cannabis this year reflects the seizure of roughly $353 million worth of product, as well as 282 arrests in 36 different counties across the state as part of the Eradication and Prevention of Illicit Cannabis, or EPIC, program. Teams conducted 665 operations, recovered 201 weapons, and removed infrastructure, including dams, water lines, and containers of toxic chemicals. In Lake County, 48 sites were shut down, and just under 43,000 plants were destroyed. In Mendocino County, 116 sites were shut down and just under134,000 plants were eradicated.
