The Lakeport City Council meets this evening at 5 pm and will hold a public hearing on the 2024 Community Development Block Grant Notice of Funding Availability. The council will consider authorizing the city manager to apply for community block grant program funding. Police Chief Dale Stoebe will request authorization for the city manager to sign a five-year contract for audio-video capture and storage services from Motorola Solutions Inc. The total cost of the five year program is just under $1 million, with the first year’s installment payment to be just under $30K.
