Fort Bragg Community Fentanyl Task Force Meets

The Fort Bragg Community Fentanyl Task Force, organized by the Fort Bragg Police DepartMissing Teen Found Over The Weekendment held its second meeting late last week. Nine of the 30 agencies considered to be the most critical when it comes to the Fentanyl epidemic presented reports to the task force. After all the presentations, the task force members identified three main areas where it could impact the crisis, including education of the public, targeting school-age children, the business community, and underrepresented populations. Increasing access to outpatient treatment, identifying potential funding for that treatment, and finally research into opening an inpatient youth treatment facility in Mendocino. The task force will meet monthly to discuss progress and will provide an update on its work before the beginning of the new year.
