A vehicle crash along State Route 20 west of Willits resulted in the driver sustaining major injuries Wednesday afternoon. CHP was dispatched to the area just after 4 pm to find the vehicle had driven down a 100’ cliffside between Willits and Fort Bragg. Emergency crews were able to free the driver, who was then air lifted to an out-of-area hospital for treatment. Investigation into the cause of the crash is underway.
