The 2024 NEA Big Read, supported by an $8,000 grant, is kicking off its next series of events in Lake County this week. This year’s featured read is “The Bear” by Andrew Krivak, and there will be a kickoff event at the Anderson Marsh State Historic Park Ranch House in Lower Lake on Saturday at 2 p.m.
