The non-profit Mendocino County Fire Safe Council is hosting a workday on Saturday to maintain a fuel break in the Pine Mountain neighborhood east of Willits. Volunteers will work on a fire break on private land created by CalFire in 2017 during the Redwood Complex Fire. Volunteers are needed. Find more information at firesafemendocino.org.
