Ukiah Woman Arrested After Drugs Found in Vehicle

Late last week, a Ukiah Police officer observed a vehicle with numerous code violations at the Arco Gas Station. As the female driver went into the store, the officer noted a large amount of marijuana in the front seat of the vehicle and drug paraphernalia in plain sight. The officer brought Christina Simmons, 33, of Ukiah outside to the vehicle. A search turned up 160 fentanyl pills valued at $1200 in Simmons’s purse and another quantity in the car. She was arrested and booked into the Mendocino County Jail on possession of narcotics for distribution possession of marijuana for sale and probation violation. Bond was set at $51,000.
