Law enforcement continues to search for a Covelo man missing for more than 10 days. The Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office reports Manuel Alvarado, 44, sent a text message to his mother, saying goodbye, that he loved her and his body could be found in the mountains near Covelo. Searches were launched in several areas to no avail. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office.
