FEMA has awarded more than $2 million dollars toward Mendocino County’s efforts to prepare for wildfires. County officials report the $2.4 million dollar Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities grant from FEMA and matching funds from a Prepare CA match grant will be used to focus on planning, including LiDar mapping, community outreach and securing enviromental approvals.
