The Lakeport Fire Protection District Board of Directors is holding a special meeting this morning to review, discuss, and possibly approve an increase in the Measure M parcel tax. Earlier in the month the board voted via motion to increase the parcel tax rate from $6.14 per benefit unit to $6.93 per benefit. The board must also vote on a resolution before the increase can be made.
