The Lake County Registrar of Voters has said the nomination period for all qualified persons other than the incumbents. Several seats on school, fire and special district boards are open, the deadline has been extended to this Wednesday, the 14th. The extension is due to incumbents not filing for reelection by this past Friday’s deadline.
