Four People Rescued in Two Incidents on Lake Mendocino

Four people were rescued at Lake Mendocino last week in two separate incidents. The first occurred on Thursday when two women on a raft were blown off the river, east of the lake. The women were picked up by a Ukiah Valley Fire Authority boat. There were no injuries and the two women declined medical treatment. Friday morning, UVFA crews responded to two men who had headed out fishing and forgot to put the plug in their board. They were brought in to shore, again no injuries were reported and both men declined treatment.
