The city of Lakeport has extended the nomination period for the upcoming City Council election in November. Non-filing by one of the incumbents has made the extension necessary. Kim Costa was the incumbent for the two-year term, but she chose to run for a four-year term this time and Brandon Disney was the incumbent for the four-year term, but chose to run for the two-year term this time.
