An 84-year-old man remains in intensive care after his car slid off the road and flipped after rounding a turn on Comptche Road just a few miles east of Highway 1. CHP reports the driver overcorrected and turned across the rain slick road and then flipped. The driver was taken to Adentist Health Mendocino Coast hospital in Fort Bragg and he was then taken by air to Providence Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital.
