The Grange Fire Near Boonville Causes Some Evacuations

Residents living near Boonville were ordered to evacuate on Thursday afternoon as crews fought a wildfire that quickly spread to 50 acres. According to CalFire, the Grange Fire started about 3:30 p.m. near the 9800 block of Highway 128. The Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office issued an evacuation order for zone MEN-3 BON01, an area with a mix of homes, wineries, and barns. Evacuation warnings were also given for zones nearby.
