CalFire reports that after burning for nine days, the Ridge Fire east of Clearlake Oaks in the Walker Ridge area along the Lake and Colusa county lines has been contained. The fire started on the 20th and has burned just over 2,700 acres. The fire prompted evacuations and at least 50 buildings were threatened. CalFire said damage to structures was averted. Lake County Firefighters, the Lake County Sheriff’s Office, and Colusa County Sheriff’s Office all assisted in fighting the blaze.
