The submission of thousands of county emails has added another twist to the case against suspended Auditor Chamise Cubbison and county employee Paula June Kennedy. Superior Court Judge Ann Moorman at a hearing Thursday admonished both attorneys to provide written, detailed accounts regarding the case. She also refused to cancel the preliminary hearing scheduled for the 25th. The contents of those emails may prove that the extra pay deal that has caused issues was approved by former Auditor Lloyd Weer, not Cubbison.
