The Mendocino County Planning Commission has approved an application for a 20-acre solar farm in Redemeyer Road, just northeast of Ukiah. The farm will have more than 10,000 solar modules and will be able to generate as much as 4 megawatts of renewable energy, which could power roughly 200 homes. The site includes infrastructure that would allow connection to PG&E’s power grid. The project is not expected to impact agricultural production.
