A fire, now called the McNab Fire, started midmorning on Sunday west of Highway 101 between Hopland and Ukiah near McNab Ranch Road. Large plumes of smoke could be seen on the ALERTCalifornia cameras in the area. Crews managed to stop the forward progress of the blaze quickly, limiting the area burned to about 10 acres. There was no report of injuries or property damage. Investigation into the cause is underway.
