A lost wallet resulted in the arrest of two Ukiah women on drug charges. UPD reports mid-July a Clearlake man reported a lost wallet. Officers checked surveillance cameras in the area and identified Jennifer Pifer of Ukiah entering a gas station where a debit card was used. A passenger in Pifer’s car, Janine Ponciano of Ukiah had an outstanding warrant and a search of her hotel room found a large quantity of drugs packaged for sale. Both were arrested and booked into the Mendocino County Jail.
