The Koi Nation of Northern California has filed suit in Lake County Superior Court against the City of Clearlake, for violating its obligations under the state Environmental Quality Act due to its proposed Arrowhead to Burns Valley Road Rehab and Burns Valley Sports Complex among other projects planned near tribal lands. Counsel for the city has said the suit has no merit, nevertheless, it is now up to the court to decide the next move.
