The Cloverdale Police Department announced it has arrested someone connected to a murder dating back to 1982. 13-year-old Sarah Ann Geer’s death has remained a mystery for over 4 decades. Through the dedicated and meticulous work of the Cloverdale PD, Glenn County Sheriff’s Office, the FBI, SERI Labs, the Sonoma County District Attorney’s Office, the Department of Justice, and private investigator Kevin Cline, James Unick, 62, of Willows was identified through DNA analysis and was taken into custody on charges of murder, rape, kidnapping and lewd and lascivious acts with a minor by force.
