Residents of Lake County Asked to Take Survey on Hot Weather and Algae Blooms

Lake County has experienced an increasing number of high heat days in the last few years and due to that, algae blooms have impacted Clear Lake on a more regular basis. Residents of Lake County are invited to take part in a survey designed to help understand the needs of the community during times of high heat and related blooms as part of the Climate Health Adaptation Resilience and Mitigation, or CHARM. Big Valley Rancheria and the Public Health Institute’s Tracking California are running the program funded by the National Institutes of Health. Find out more and take the survey at charmlakecounty.org.
