The Lake County Sheriff’s Department has released the name of a man killed over the weekend in an ATV accident. Yan Gilmeev, 41 of West Sacramento, was riding along Bartlett Springs Road near Forest Route 15 with his teenage son when the ATV rolled off the road. Both were thrown from the vehicle and the elder Gilmeev died of his injuries. His son managed to walk to the road where he was picked up. He was later flown out of the county for treatment.
