The National Weather Service has issued an excessive heat watch for Lake County, in effect from 11 a.m. Tuesday through 8 p.m. Thursday. It will be dangerously hot with temperatures from 95 to 103 degrees possible. Highest temps can be expected in the eastern part of the county. There will also be some gusty winds, upwards of 20 miles per hour.
