The driver of a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run accident has been arrested. Last Thursday, the Willits PD was called to the scene of a hit and run on Holly Street in Willits. Medical aid was given and the teenage victim was treated at Howard Memorial and then flown out of the area for further treatment. Witnesses report a full-size pickup truck intentionally hit the teen and then fled. During their investigation, Luis Archundia Morales of Willits came forward and said he was the driver of the vehicle. Morales was booked into the Mendocino County Jail on several charges including attempted murder. The victim is in stable condition.
