The Lake County Watershed Protection District and Northshore Fire District have announced that a control burn will occur on a section of the Upper Lake levee all week, depending on the weather and wind conditions. The Lake County Watershed Protection District and Northshore Fire Protection District are working together to conduct vegetation maintenance via controlled burning of a section along Elk Mountain at Clover Creek.
