Mendocino County, after two years of sharing with Sonoma County, has hired a new Ag Commissioner and Sealer of Weights and Measures. Angela Godwin is currently a deputy in the ag commissioner’s office in Ventura County. Godwin will start with the county on June 23rd at an annual salary of $258,000 and a four-year contract, with a hiring bonus of $40,000 to be paid over three years.
