The Lake County Sheriff’s office is working to identify the body of a woman found Monday in the area of the Rodman Slough just north of Lakeport. The body was found around 9 am and is not one of the persons currently reported missing in Lake County. She was a white female, 5’2” to 5’5” tall, aged somewhere between 50 to 65 years, with short, pixie-cut blonde/brown hair. She was found wearing a black tank top-style shirt, purple leggings, burgundy socks, and black shoes with green polish on her nails. There is a tattoo of a butterfly on her upper left chest and a flower on the back right shoulder area. Anyone with information is asked to call the Lake County Coroner or the Sheriff’s Department.
