Lake County Home Sales Are Higher but Still Lower Than Last Year

The Lake County Association of Realtors reports in March, home sales were higher than in February but lower than last year.  There is just over 5 months inventory available for sale in the area, which is considered a seller’s market.  April’s had just over 6.1 months of inventory, making that month a buyer’s market.  The average time on the market in March was 79 days, compared to 54 in February and 43 days a year ago March.  Median asking price for a single-family home in March was $370,000, with the median purchase price being $300,000.
