The Fort Bragg Police are warning of a scam involving fake $100 bills. The ink is removed from a $5 bill and then fake $100 bills are printed with the blank bill. The markers usually used to identify counterfeit bills won’t work on those bills. If you encounter a suspicious bill, contact the Fort Bragg PD.
