Fort Bragg City Council Looking for Ways to Make Downtown More Walkable

At its most recent meeting, the Fort Bragg City Council agreed to hear suggestions regarding parking downtown. KZYX reports the recommendations are designed to make the area more friendly to foot traffic and biking. Walker Consultants said that parking downtown is usually available and that they would support eliminating parking requirements for developers, who have to create parking spaces for every living unit built downtown, saying that too much parking encourages people to choose to drive rather than walk or bike.
