The CHP is asking for the public’s help in locating a vehicle involved in the hit-and-run death of a pedestrian. 28-year-old Dakota Stafslien of Garberville/Redway was found struck and pronounced dead at the scene near Piercy. Anyone with information is asked to contact the California Highway Patrol.
