The 40th Annual Clearlake Oaks Catfish Derby is next week. The biggest catfish event west of the Mississippi is scheduled for the 17th through the 19th, The Derby takes place at the Clearlake Oaks Fire Department and the prizes total $10,000 in cash and raffle merchandise.
