A winter weather advisory is in effect for the Mendocino and Lake County interiors, including Cobb and Knob Cone camp. Snow at about 2500 feet is expected into the evening, with accumulation of anywhere from 3 to 5 inches. Roads into the mountains may become slick and hazardous. Less than 1 inch of snow accumulation is possible this morning for elevations between 1500 and 2500 feet. Small hail may also accumulate on roads and create slippery conditions.
