In Mendocino County Superior Court, a Willits man was found guilty of six counts of sex crimes against children. Rufino Lopez Vazquez, 42 was found guilty of three counts of forcible rape of a child 14 years of age or older, two charges of offering to distribute pornography to a child, and contacting a child with the intent of committing a sexual offense against them. Vasquez remains in custody at the Sheriff’s Low Gap Jail and will appear in court on the 25th of this month for sentencing.
