The 22nd Annual Ukiah Haiku Festival has received over one thousand entries this year. The Festival is sponsored by California Humanities, a non-profit partner of the National Endowment for the Humanities, Art Now International, and Wave Books. North Coast Opportunities is the event’s fiscal sponsor with help from the Mendocino County Library, the City of Ukiah, the Grace Hudson Museum, Tsadik, the Arts Council of Mendocino County, and the Ukiah Poet Laureate Committee. This year’s readings and awards ceremony takes place Sunday, the 28th at the Ukiah Civic Center Council Chambers and will be the first full festival since the pandemic.
