The ongoing saga of Ukiah’s Palace Hotel continues. As recently as 2018, the building was deemed structurally sound and suitable for seismic retrofit. According to TheWillitsNews, the same structural engineering company looked at the building again last year and although it noted a decline in the interior of the building, the company once again said the structure was sound. A decision from the state is expected this month and could either save or seal the fate of the historic building.
