The Lakeport Police Department will participate in the US Drug Enforcement Administration’s annual National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Saturday from 10 to 2. Unwanted or expired prescription medications in the form of pills, patches, and sealed liquids can be dropped off with no questions asked. Vaping devices and cartridges may also be discarded. The event will be held in the front lobby entrance of the Lakeport police station at 2025 S. Main St.
