A Fort Bragg man has been sentenced in Mendocino County Superior Court to 43 years in the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation for the continuous sexual abuse of a child under 14 years of age. The continuous sexual abuse classification comes when the prosecution proves beyond a reasonable doubt that three or more instances of substantial sexual conduct were perpetrated on a child under the age of 14 years during no less than three months by a perpetrator who has recurring access to the victim. Robert Stanley Hrbac was also convicted of Conspiracy to Prevent or Dissuade the Child Victim from cooperating with the investigation.
