At its meeting on Thursday, the Clearlake City Council voted on a new policy regarding AI, approved an extension of the City Manager’s contract, and approved an application for gap funding for a new apartment project. City Manager Alan Flora’s contract was extended for another year, and the extension includes a clause that says terminating his employment without cause would require a 4/5th vote of the council for a year after the election of a new council member.
