The Mendocino County Assessor-Clerk-Recorder has announced that just over 14,500 vote-by-mail ballots as well as almost 600 conditional-provisional ballots have yet to be counted. That number of ballots once processed is expected to influence the 1st and 2nd district supervisoral races. The deadline for receiving vote-by-mail ballots is tomorrow and the Assessor-Clerk-Recorder says updated results of the election are expected to be delivered by 4 pm on Tuesday.
