A Lakeport man struck by a hit-and-run driver last month has died. Omar Romero of Lakeport has died due to injuries received when he was struck on the night of February 14th by an SUV driven by Oscar Rosas of Clearlake. Rosas fled the scene but turned himself in the next day and was arrested. He now faces felony hit-and-run charges and an investigation into the accident is underway.
