The Lakeport Elks Lodge 2704 recently received $11,500 for three Community Improvement Grants. The money will help Operation Tango Mike sends monthly care packages to deployed troops, help The Lake Family Resource Center provide services to families in the area, including its safe shelter, community violence prevention, intervention and treatment, and will allow the Upper Lake Senior Center to upgrade its community kitchen.
