Lake County Health is raising awareness of the increasing incidence of Hepatitis C within the community. Hep C is a liver disease spread primarily through exposure to infected blood, however, it can also be spread by sharing needles, or personal care items or through sexual contact. Testing for Hep C can be obtained through Lake County Public Health.
