The impacts to Lake County’s water supply if PG&E’s plan to decommission the Potter Valley Project continues were discussed during the last meeting of the Lake County Board of Supervisors. A request for a letter of support from the state Department of Water Resources was considered and approval of a resolution to decommission the Potter Valley Project. The Department of Water Resources identified possible grant funding to assess the effects of the decommissioning. The board passed both items in a unanimous vote.
