The city of Fort Bragg is now the official owner/operator of the CV Starr Community Center, after a six-month transition from the Mendocino Coast Recreation and Parks District. All current operations and classes are slated to continue, although there may be some interruption of schedules from time to time for much-needed maintenance or installation of new equipment. The takeover of the center has saved it from bankruptcy and will allow the community to continue to enjoy its benefits.
