A Fort Bragg man has been arrested for possession of an assault weapon and controlled substances after a shooting on Highway 1. The Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office responded over the weekend to the area of Boice Lane and the 17000 block of Highway 1. A vehicle with a female driver and male passenger was located, along with a single 9mm bullet hole was found in the car. Officers saw the driver receiving text messages from another driver and found Dylan Dixon. Dixon was arrested and booked into the Mendocino County Jail on a number of felony charges. He was given a $150,000 bond.
