A man found to be in possession of methamphetamine has been arrested for a disturbance near the Oak Manor School in Ukiah. UPD received a report of a suspicious man yelling and making threats in the creek area that borders the back side of the campus. Neil Waldron of Ukiah was approached by the school resource officer, was ordered to stop and drop the chaing he was carrying. Waldron refused and fled, he was caught and began fighting with the SR officer. The officer used his taser to no effect. It took several officers to subdue Waldron. He was found to have meth on his person and was found to be on parole for a burglary conviction. The SR officer was treated and released with an injury to his hand.
