There continues to be a high surf advisory in effect for the Mendocino Coast through tonight. Large breaking waves in the surf zone, on beaches, jetties, and rocky areas can sweep a person into the sea. Mariners traveling the bar are urged to exercise extreme caution or stay in port until the threat subsides. Rain continues to be forecast through the weekend.
